Architecture is a profession, practice, and research domain that reflects both the physical and non-physical attributes applied to the built environment to form a city's layered knowledge. The MSc programme examines these two aspects in an interdisciplinary manner combining architecture and sustainability issues through critical debate and creative practice to aid students' development as designers of future cities and urban environments.

The MSc in Architecture Design supports the understanding and critical analysis of key concepts of global developments related to architectural design, urbanism, and cities. The course also engages with creative methodological approaches required to interpret, inquire about, and examine design problems and sites with complex challenges and work with different stakeholders and communities to raise questions and engage with radically challenging conditions.
