• The content of the programme will be driven by ‘real-world problems’ and delivered in a problem-centred approach
• Students will be working with ‘real world’ health data
• A multidisciplinary approach to accessing and using routine health data for research and patient benefit
• It takes a patient centred approach to evidence and to quality improvement for health professionals and others accessing and using health data
• Research led teaching from a core of staff with a track record of funded applied health research
• A teaching team with a strong track record in providing support to those returning to education to further their career development, including CPD.
• A higher maths qualification/specialism not essential as online self-assessed refresher courses will be available in statistics and introduction to python software.
