All final year students complete a research project with a focus on philosophy and/or some area of the study of religion, preferably with ethical significance; this will showcase the academic skills developed over the course of the programme. The final-year project also develops work-ready and enterprise skills.
Assessment is streamlined so that learning outcomes are not assessed multiple times in each module. There will be varied forms of unassessed formative exercises, enabling you to make progress with the learning outcomes and skills outside a summative assessment context. Opportunities for explicit discussion and support will continue to be made available by module leaders in student consultation hours and in routine meetings with academic personal tutors.
Any of the core modules and any combination of optional modules will enable you to achieve all the learning outcomes.
