Learning outcomes

On completion of the year/programme students should have provided evidence of being able to:

- acquire an alternative perspective on the nature of the workplace
- demonstrate practical and cultural understanding of the workplace
- demonstrate the ability to contribute to a workplace environment

Skills Learning Outcomes

Students will have had the opportunity to acquire, as defined in the modules specified for the programme:

- organisational skills enabling them to live and work successfully in a new environment
- interpersonal skills allowing them to operate successfully within different expectations
- ability to adapt to the workplace and to recognise their strengths and weaknesses in this area
- skills necessary for the communication of information

Assessment

Achievement will be assessed (on a Pass/Fail basis) by:
- satisfactory feedback on student performance from the work placement
- satisfactory compliance with reporting procedures under CSER8000
