Learning outcomes

On completion of the year students should have provided evidence of being able to:
- understand and demonstrate the benefits of their practical experience relating to one or more of the functions of management; and
- developed and practised personal transferable skills.

Transferable (key) skills

Students will have had the opportunity to develop and practise:
- communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with work colleagues;
- time management, problem solving and decision-making skills;
- personal development planning skills; and
- report writing skills.

Assessment

Achievement will be assessed (on a Pass/Fail basis) by written reports and a portfolio of evidence that will
- reflect upon and demonstrate skills acquisition and development, and
- indicate an ability to relate academic knowledge to practical experience in the workplace.
