Skills Learning Outcomes
- Research and Design Skills: The ability to design, develop and execute self-direct small research projects to produce digital media outcomes, employ appropriate methodologies, analyse findings, and adhere to the principles of research ethics.
- Critical Thinking: Apply knowledge of digital media to make informed critical contributions to debates about media texts and industries.
- Teamwork: Successfully contribute to a collaborative digital media project, with appropriate support, as a member of a team.
Core modules at Level 2 on the BA Digital Media are assessed through a variety of methods, including a programming project, a critical research blog, reflective logs, the production of a digital media artefact or campaign, reports, critical reviews and research proposals. Optional modules employ a range of assessments in according with their individual learning outcomes, which can include essays, audio-visual outputs and literature reviews.
