Assessment

Progress and achievement are assessed through a variety of formative and summative tasks, with ample opportunity for tutor and peer feedback and self-evaluation. Assessment tasks are aligned fully with the knowledge and skills learning outcomes outlined above and ensure assessment of:
· competence in the language, skills, knowledge and understanding required of a student entering postgraduate-level study
· effective performance required in the context of a university-based academic environment, through integrated assessments that cover all four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
