Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this programme you will be able to:

1. Demonstrate in-depth, specialist knowledge and professional skills relevant to arts management and heritage studies and/or to demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of concepts, information and techniques at the forefront of the discipline;

2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of techniques applicable to your own research or advanced scholarship;

3. Take a proactive and self-reflective role in developing professional relationships with others;

4. Proactively formulate ideas and hypotheses and develop, implement and execute plans by which to evaluate these;

5. Critically and creatively evaluate current issues, research and advanced scholarship in arts management and heritage studies;

6. Make reflexive use of online digital collections.

Assessment

You will be assessed using a variety of methods. These include extended essays, reflective writing, presentations, practice-based projects, action-based learning, group work, and a dissertation. Our assessment is led by principles of relevance, fairness and inclusivity, and the development of vital skills beyond university, such as problem-solving, adaptability, self-reliance and reflexivity.
