On completion of the Study Abroad year, students should be able to:
1. Demonstrate knowledge of the host country’s culture and awareness of the role of cultural difference in shaping beliefs, practices and perceptions.
2. Show new perspectives on one’s own culture and an ability to think critically about one’s own values, beliefs, and goals.
3. Apply a set of skills (adaptability, ability to problem-solve) to manage the new challenges of daily life in a different culture.
