On completion of the BA Geography with Transport Studies programme students should have provided evidence of
having:
- a detailed understanding of human social, economic, political and cultural systems from a spatial and/or environmental perspective;
- an understanding of geography's intellectual development and important theoretical perspectives applied in the study of space, place and the environment;
- a detailed understanding of key issues and debates in transport geography and the challenges for planning and policy solutions;
- a detailed appreciation of the practical contributions made by geography and transport studies to debates and policy on societal and environmental issues;
- the skills necessary to engage with ideas in the social sciences and humanities;
- key skills in the social sciences, and the ability to apply those skills to collect and use data;
