The awards are comparable with expected academic standards within the sector and within the University. The design of the programme is specialist and bespoke to the scholars. The modules all form part of a variety of taught postgraduate programmes across the Schools of Performance and Cultural Industries and Music and meet the relevant benchmarks for those awards.

Entry requirements

Normally a good honours degree in a relevant discipline or relevant and equivalent professional experience (i.e. cultural industries, education, arts, creatives) and equivalent qualifications. Open to holders of the Pettman DARE Scholarship only.

Programme specification

The programme is unique to the Pettman DARE collaboration providing the University of Leeds with an exclusive professional link with Opera North. In addition, the development supports the international strategy of both schools through exclusive recruitment of scholars from New Zealand.
