Programme specification

This programme is aimed at graduates and professionals who want to pursue roles as management consultants in the environmental and sustainability arenas. The programme was the first of its kind in the UK, and it is the longest-running programme of its kind, with a vast network of alumni working as consultants in the environment and sustainability, leading the best practice in the field worldwide.

The programme combines modules which provide a foundation of knowledge on sustainability and environmental protection with modules that focus on the tangible professional skills that are used by environmental and sustainability consultants and project managers.

The programme is delivered by academic staff and practising consultants, providing students with exposure to real-life case studies and a good understanding of contemporary management techniques. A key component of this programme is completing a consultancy project undertaken during a placement with a professional organisation.
