Programme specification
The programme will benefit from the contribution of a group of internationally renowned tutors who have extensive experience of health services research and epidemiology as well as contributing to the delivery of dental public health services locally and nationally. These tutors include Professor Gail Douglas (International Caries Detections and Assessment System Foundation), and Dr John Beal (British Fluoride Society). In addition, there are guest tutors from around the world available to remotely contribute to the seminars: Alessandro Villa (Post Doc Fellow, Infections and Immunoepidemiology Branch Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics, NIH, USA).
There will also be direct involvement with Public Health England consultants and Specialists in teaching service related elements of the course and bringing to life the theoretical basis of DPH through working examples from around the UK.
