The pressures of a growing population, changing climate and environmental damage create a perfect storm of problems within the agricultural sector. Solutions to these important global issues require comprehension of the scientific principles underlying crop and livestock production alongside an awareness of the social and economic aspects of building sustainable agriculture. This course will give you a broad foundation of highly relevant knowledge in this field. Crucially, the course will also allow you to build a skillset to practically address these issues, including leadership, communication and critical evaluation skills You will be trained in the technical and scientific aspects of sustainable agriculture, with a focus on ensuring that you will be widely employable in both academic and industrial organisations.
