The module provides an exploration of the principles and practice required to manage events and festivals, which are open to the public (i.e. not private parties and weddings). The fundamentals of concept design, marketing and customer care, project management and logistics will be explored through case studies of existing events/festivals. You will examine event management tools to support your creative thinking in the generation and design of new and exciting ideas for events and festivals which you will develop for your assessments.
