This module is not approved as a discovery module
This module will enable you to apply and reflect on your understanding of theory to the development of the knowledge and skills within your professional setting. You will develop digital skills to realise outcomes which are required in your professional context and engage with relevant digital platforms. You will be provided with opportunities to share understandings, perspectives and experiences of professional contexts with students from different professional backgrounds.
The objectives of this module are to:
1. Relate theory to practice within a professional context.
2. Reflect on and apply knowledge and skills within the workplace.
3. Develop an understanding of professional practice in context, including working with different stakeholders
On successful completion of the module students will have demonstrated the following learning outcomes relevant to the subject:
1. Evaluate a range of practices including issues and challenges in professional contexts.
2. Apply workbased skills and theoretical knowledge needed for professional practice within own context.
3. Evaluate the impact of interpersonal dynamics on professional practice.
4. Recognise and articulate the transferability of their studies into the context of the workplace.

There will be ongoing monitoring of student progress throughout the module. There will also be tutorials to monitor progress and formative feedback will be provided for tasks.
