Students may submit brief extracts, outlines, or evidence samples to for formative feedback.

Ahead of the simulation, class time will be used to practice option scoring and reasoning in low stakes settings. No drafts are required, but students are encouraged to seek feedback during workshops and engagement in in-class collaborative activities.

Methods of Assessment

The assessment strategy uses two authentic and inclusive tasks, which is an evidence based internationalisation audit requiring real primary data collection, and a live, in class international strategy simulation with a time limited reflection. Both assessments map directly to the learning outcomes, support a diverse Level 2 cohort, and align with Curriculum Redefined principles for authentic assessment, inclusive design, scaffolded learning, and academic integrity. Resits use equivalent individual written tasks tailored to each assessment.
