Objectives

Supervised clinical practice, delivered to a clear framework of competencies, provides students with opportunities to develop their clinical skills and apply theoretical learning in a range of relevant settings. Trainee nursing associates must experience placements in each of the three health and care settings: hospital, at home and close to home settings. This module provides a wide a range of learning opportunities and contexts to fully deliver the required learning outcomes. The learning environment on placements supports the learning activities on the programme so that learners can apply learning and reflect on both theoretical and applied knowledge.
