Formative assessment will be integrated into classroom activities to enhance student learning. Regular opportunities for peer and tutor feedback will be provided through small group work, discussions, and individual contributions. This will prepare students for the summative assessments, which include a group project and a speaking exam. Additionally, students will receive feedback on individual assignments each semester, and past exam papers will be used for practice. The communicative nature of the course will encourage frequent oral practice, with instant feedback to further develop speaking skills and prepare students for the speaking exam.
