Module summary

The aim is to explore collage as a creative process and its cultural significance today. You will study how given 'cut-and-paste' techniques have shaped and still shape approaches in art and design practices today. In practical workshops, you will work toward developing an individual project. In seminars, you will learn to evaluate techniques and materials to make informed decisions about your work progress. Through this process, you will engage in creative challenges that allow you to develop and refine your practical and analytical skills while completing your project. Please note this is an optional module and runs subject to enrolments. If a low number of students choose this module, then the module may not run and you may be asked to choose another module
