To provide you with intermediate practical skills in motion graphics for film and television including animation and visual effects
This module aims to teach you to construct motion graphic sequences for film and television production using appropriate industry software, and to understand, appreciate and demonstrate coherent subject knowledge and professional design constraints for this purpose. Students will be required to manage and schedule their project(s) by a specified deadline, and will review and critically analyse their production work against industry practitioners.
On successful completion of the module students will have demonstrated the following learning outcomes relevant to the subject:
1. Contextualise and situate a motion graphic sequence.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of and critically engage with concept design in motion graphics
3. Critically engage with photographic and video imagery using analytical strategies.
Skills Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the module students will have demonstrated the following skills learning outcomes:
1. Digitally produce content using industry standard software.
2. Understand the implications of sustainability via the Albert Sustainable Production organisation.

Students submit a practical portfolio as a formative assessment. Weekly feedback is offered on this portfolio during practical sessions and formative feedback is also offered on the main project. Individual verbal feedback is given to all students
