Produce an independent and critical piece of work on a selected topic within the field of philosophy. The student should show a good grasp of the chosen field and relevant important literature, and display the ability to formulate a rigorous and independent extended argument.
Detailed and critical understanding of the relevant field, depending on the topic of the dissertation.
The module will develop skills in independent research. Some skills will depend upon the student’s choice of topic.
To be developed in consultation with the personal supervisor.
