Objectives
On completion of this module, students should be able to:
a) demonstrate the ability to plan and execute a mathematics project
b) conduct a systematic literature review on some aspect of mathematics
c) critically appraise the literature in the chosen topic
d) communicate their project by preparing outputs specified in the module handbook and an oral presentation.
Syllabus
Each student will discuss with one or more individual supervisors a suitable research project.
The title and objectives of the project will be approved by the Programme Manager. As far as possible, the projects will reflect the individual interests of individual students.

Students will conduct an independent project where their findings are assessed via a selection of outputs which may include written reports, presentations, interviews, posters, reflective logs, notes of supervision meetings or other outputs relevant to the project.
