This module aims to provide students knowledge of international distribution and supply chain activities, the issues involved in physical distribution and logistics decisions, the importance of multi-channel systems and the role of channels in developing a competitive advantage.
Upon completion of this module students will be able to:
- Evaluate channel alternatives for optimal mode of entry to international markets and relate this to the importance of value chains for assessing market channels
- Assess the management of distribution channels in terms of partnership and control issues
- Evaluate and relate distribution strategy to levels of customer service
Upon completion of this module students will be able to:
