Objectives
On completion of this module, students should be able to:
- Demonstrate skill in designing, planning and conducting original research relevant to the field of counselling
- Demonstrate the ability to report this research in a logical, coherent, and understandable form
- Demonstrate the use of reflexivity throughout the research process
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct the research with due concern for ethical issues
- Demonstrate the ability to place the research findings within a context of critically evaluated literature
- Demonstrate the ability to assess the limitations of the research
- Demonstrate the ability to generate new research recommendations arising from the reported research
Syllabus
Students will undertake and present a piece of original research related to the field of integrative counselling.
